Delegation from Ministry of Education, Thailand Visit Japan

Severn delegates from Ministry of Education, Thailand visited Japan to study the status of education for older people in Japan They visited several educational research institutes in Tsukuba, Kyoto and Osaka during their stay from July 3 through 12.

A comprehensive lecture on “The Status of Older People in Japan” was given in ILC on July 7. Mr. Tadaharu Goto, President of ILC-Japan explained “Characteristics of Older People in Japan” and “Overview of Social Security Systems in Japan.” Additionally, secretariat staff of ILC-Japan talked about “Outline of Education for the Elderly”.
